The United Nations Organization, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the people of Wakanda after the death of King T'Challa, embarks on a global search to find vibranium to build weapons of mass destruction and highly sophisticated military equipment to face potential threats and extraterritorial beings. After a new discovery of this scarce material in the Atlantic Ocean by a group of scientists, the Wakandan country is terribly affected by a new underwater civilization that threatens its security and the lives of the citizens of the region if it doesn't submit to the conditions of a new deal proposed by it.
La Organización de Naciones Unidas, aprovechando la vulnerabilidad del pueblo de Wakanda tras la muerte del rey T’Challa, emprende una búsqueda global con el fin de encontrar vibranium para construir armas de destrucción masiva y equipos militares altamente sofisticados que hicieran frente a amenazas potenciales y seres extraterritoriales. Tras un nuevo descubrimiento de este escaso material en el océano Atlántico por un grupo de científicos, el país wakandiano se ve terriblemente afectado por una nueva civilización subacuática que amenaza con su seguridad y atenta contra la vida de los ciudadanos de la región sino se llega a someter a las condiciones de un nuevo trato propuesto por ésta.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a sci-fi film with a great dramatic weight that justifies the death of the actor Chadwick Boseman who had a leading role in the previous film, being paid tribute to in much of the film by the other actors of the cast. Shuri (Letitia Wright), T'Challa's sister, feels vulnerable by the death of her brother going through a group of situations that make her fight her loss. The nation of Wakanda is under attack from many angles and with no central figure to defend it, Shuri must take the lead as queen to mitigate these new threats.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever es un cinta de ciencia y ficción con un gran peso dramático que justifica la muerte del actor Chadwick Boseman quien tenía un papel protagónico en la anterior película, siendo homenajeado en gran parte de la misma por los demás actores del elenco. Shuri (Letitia Wright), hermana de T’Challa, se siente vulnerable por la muerte de su hermano pasando a su vez por un grupo de situaciones que la hacen combatir su pérdida. La nación de Wakanda es atacada desde muchos ángulos y al no tener una figura central que la defienda, Shuri debe asumir el liderazgo como reina para mitigar a estas nuevas amenazas.
Despite the void felt in the film, it is filled by a plot that brings together a cast that includes Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Mabel Cadena, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman and other supporting actors with memorable performances that bring you deep into the story. Letitia Wright, as the central character, plays an invaluable role that doesn't replace the deceased, but provides a great connection to the plot of the story due to her current situation regarding the mantle of the black panther. Other actors appearing in it are Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger and Dominique Thorne in the role of Iron Heart.
A pesar del vacío que se siente en la cinta, es llenado por una trama que reúne a un elenco conformado por Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Mabel Cadena, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman y otros actores apoyando con actuaciones memorables que te adentran de a fondo en la historia. Letitia Wright, como personaje central, interpreta un papel invaluable que no sustituye al fallecido, pero le brinda una gran conexión a la trama de la misma debido a su situación actual con respecto al manto de la pantera negra. Otros actores que aparecen en ella son Michael B. Jordan como Killmonger y Dominique Thorne en el papel de Iron Heart.
Soundtrack conveys both moments of joy and sadness, especially when alluding to King T'Challa. Songs of South African, Mexican, Caribbean and American origin are played in several scenes where characters of the same territorial nature appear. Rihanna's latest phonographic composition called "Lift Me Up" is the song chosen for the credits, making evident the singer's connection to MCU.
La banda sonora transmite tanto momentos de alegría como de tristeza, principalmente cuando se hace alusión al rey T’Challa. Canciones de origen sudafricanas, mexicanas, caribeñas y americanas son reproducidas en varias escenas donde aparecen personajes de la misma índole territorial. La última composición fonográfica de Rihanna llamada “Lift Me Up” es la canción elegida para los créditos haciendo evidente la unión de la cantante al UCM.
The Mexican culture is highlighted above all, making an incursion into the MCU where the talokaniles are interpreted by actors from that country, thus demonstrating the importance that this culture will have for future installments. African rites, native and almost extinct languages are spoken to a lesser extent, other times in English or Spanish but with accents different from those we are already accustomed to.
Se destaca la cultura mexicana sobre todo, incursionándola dentro del UCM donde los talokaniles son interpretados por actores de dicho país demostrando así la importancia que esta cultura depositará para próximas entregas. Ritos africanos, idiomas nativos y casi en extinción son hablados en menor medida, otras veces en idioma inglés o español pero con acentos diferentes a los que ya estamos acostumbrados.
Many new costumes, armors and evolutionary versions of previous costumes are introduced following the line of appearance of the characters according to the Marvel comics, even so, the producers have decided to keep the appearance of K'uk'ulkan a.k.a. Namor to make him look as faithful as possible to his origin from the comics without any modification, since it's a trend in Phase 4 to show the characters as they came out of the comic-books.
Muchos nuevos trajes, armaduras y versiones evolutivas de vestuarios anteriores son introducidos siguiendo la línea de apariencia de los personajes según los cómics de Marvel, aún así, los productores han decidido mantener el aspecto de K’uk’ulkan a.k.a. Namor para que pareciera lo más fiel posible a su origen de las historietas sin modificación alguna, ya que en sí es tendencia en la Fase 4 mostrar a los personajes tal y como salieron de los cómics.
Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor is the connection of what we know as The Infinity Saga to the mutant universe, his debut being the upcoming confirmation of the X-MEN in a future project. Namor is an antagonist that gives a much more serious character to the film, comparable to the level of evil and insanity of Loki or Killmonger. The events take place two years after what we saw in Avengers: Endgame, being a story in which Thanos and the consequences of his actions are still remembered very clearly. There are no references to the multiverse here, so although this one belongs to Phase 4, it's not focused on connections between worlds of any kind.
Tenoch Huerta Mejía como Namor es la conexión de lo que conocemos por The Infinity Saga con el universo mutante, siendo su debut la confirmación próxima de los X-MEN en un futuro proyecto. Namor es un antagonista que le da un carácter mucho más serio a la cinta, comparable con el nivel de maldad y locura de Loki o Killmonger. Los hechos ocurren dos años después de lo visto en Avengers: Endgame, siendo una historia en la que todavía se recuerda a Thanos y las consecuencias de sus actos muy claramente. Aquí no hay referencias al multiverso, por lo que aunque ésta pertenece a la Fase 4, no está centrada a conexiones entre mundos de ningún tipo.
The graphics in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are far superior to She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Thor: Love and Thunder and even the Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special that was released later. Elements such as water, animals, scene backgrounds and snow have an excellent workmanship making this film easily one of the best of the year in the visual aspect.
Los gráficos de Black Panther: Wakanda Forever son muy superiores a los de She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Thor: Love and Thunder e incluso al del especial de navidad de Guardians of the Galaxy que se estrenó después. Elementos como el agua, los animales, los fondos de escena y la nieve tienen un excelente trabajado haciendo fácilmente esta película como una de las mejores del año en el aspecto visual.
de Fontaine's participation, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus makes her connection with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye and Black Widow clear, although she doesn't play the role of a villain, it is clear that she is a character with high purchasing power within the MCU. It's worth noting that the artificial intelligence Griot appears in the film, which arises as a result of the operation that Shuri performed on Vision in Avengers: Infinity War, controlling much of the operations that the central character performs while shesn't present. There is also mention of Bast, Hulk and Ironman as significant tie-ins.
La participación de de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) hace que su conexión con The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye y Black Widow sea clara, aunque no realiza un papel de villana, se deja ver que sí es un personaje con alto poder adquisitivo dentro del UCM. Cabe destacar que la inteligencia artificial Griot aparece en la cinta, la cual surge a raíz de la operación que Shuri le realizó a Vision en Avengers: Infinity War, controlando gran parte de las operaciones que el personaje central realiza mientras no está presente. También se hace mención a Bast, Hulk y a Ironman como enganche significativo.
Shuri is the new black panther of the MCU, being a warrior capable of defending her nation, with a new costume, new powers and a new legacy. Although the plot focuses a lot on the homage of the death of the former king, it gives way to a new story allowing a moderate turn of events that introduces new characters that will have a fundamental role in future movies. There is still a new installment that will finish the trilogy of the panther's legacy, they say that second parts were never good, but this one breaks that cycle. Have you seen it yet? Shuri es la nueva pantera negra del UCM, siendo una guerrera capaz de defender su nación, con un nuevo traje, nuevos poderes y un nuevo legado. Aunque la trama se centra mucho en el homenaje de la muerte del antiguo rey, le da paso a una nueva historia permitiendo un giro moderado de los hechos que introduce nuevos personajes que tendrán un papel fundamental en próximas películas. Todavía queda una nueva entrega que terminará la trilogía del legado de la pantera, dicen que las segundas partes nunca fueron buenas, pero esta rompe ese ciclo.
